Weddings & Civil Partnerships
Telling the story of one of the most important days of your lives deserves more than a random stranger appearing with a camera for 4 hours and sending you a web link afterwards. For the best results, I need to know a bit about you both, what you like and what you don't like. You're investing in the day and so should the people you choose to help you.
In the months before the big day, I'll meet with you. We can talk through what you want and I'll give you some ideas too. If you like, we can combine this with a pre-wedding shoot. On the day, you'll see me, possibly with an assistant, largely in the background except for any formals or other specifics you've asked for.

The Packages
No two ceremonies are the same; especially when it comes to different religions, beliefs and cultures. Religious ceremonies are very different to secular ones and civil partnerships are different again to weddings.
The options below will give you an idea of my services and prices to help you compare. When we talk, we can work out the details to best fit in with your day.
Ceremony to Speeches (typically 6 hours)
- Photos on arrival and entry into the ceremony
- Ceremony pictures (depending on the vicar / registrar)
- Signing the register
- Post-ceremony images of the couple in the grounds or suitable location en route to the reception
- Any formals or group shots you would like
- Entry of the couple into the reception venue
- Cutting the cake (actual or posed depending on when you plan to cut)
- Speeches
- Finish as the meal is served
Full Day (typically 10 hours)
- 'Getting ready' shots (can include either or both of the couple)
- Leaving for the ceremony and shots on arrival and entry
- Ceremony pictures (depending on the vicar / registrar)
- Signing the register
- Post-ceremony images of the couple in the grounds or suitable location en route to the reception
- Any formals or group shots you would like
- Entry of the couple into the reception venue
- Cutting the cake (either here or after the meal depending on your plans)
- Speeches
- Some shots of the food and any entertainment you may have laid on (and at this stage I'll take a break)
- Any post-dinner speeches
- Candid shots of guests whilst the evening is prepared
- First dances and other general shots (especially of evening only guests)
- Finish as the evening gets into full swing! (normally an hour or so after first dances)
Some people prefer a traditional album approach whilst others prefer the digital world. Of course, many like both! Each of the options above is available as either a 'digital' or 'album' package. For the photographically minded, I use Nikon equipment (D3) and various pro lenses.
The digital package includes:
- Online proof gallery where you and your guests can view your images and / or order prints
- Disk of your images in a luxurious padded presentation case so you can make your own prints and share with friends and family (high resolution, licensed for printing and copying)
The album package includes:
- Online proof gallery where you and your guests can view your images and / or order prints
- Fifty 7in x 5in prints and ten 10in x 8in prints (either you can choose or I can make the selection)
- A beautiful hand-bound Italian 16in x 12in (full day) or 14in x 10in (ceremony to speeches) album from Graphistudio (I will design based on the images from the day and send you proofs to approve before the album is produced and book bound in the UK)
- A matching presentation suitcase for your album
